The Comark Instruments SK40M type-K thermocouple surface probe measures temperature up to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C), has a weighted PVC probe and a 4' armor lead. The durable PVC (polyvinyl chloride) probe resists high temperatures for up to 5 minutes and is weighted for stability during temperature readings. Its flexible armor lead measures 4', and it has a sub-miniature connector that attaches to a thermocouple kit or thermometer. This probe is designed for use in monitoring temperatures on grills and griddles.
